Crafting

I definitely would never call myself a "crafter." Seriously, I don't even sew on buttons (my mom does. Or my husband hahaha). The first crafty thing I really ever made was when I painted Kate's dresser. I do love looking at ideas for my house, but I never really thought to make things for it, that just sounded sort of ghetto to me I guess. However, my sister FINALLY convinced me to join Pinterest and my friends out here in Rochester love doing crafts, so I guess I have somewhat become converted.

I have made a few little (and very easy) things recently and I actually have a few more things I want to do now-I want to find a tray table and paint it for my entry way and I also want to make this cool picture I saw on Pinterest.

We had a "crafternoon" for med school wives club (which really means us girls finding an excuse to get together each week). We made Valentines crafts and I made these 3 little heart garlands. Ridiculously easy craft.

 Then I decided to make a banner to go over Kate's window because I cannot find drapes that I like. In March my mom and I are going to find some cute fabric so she can make me some haha.



And now for my second biggest craft project (first being painting the dresser), Randy and I put our pictures on to canvas boards and made a collage. This one was a really fun project!
 

I guess I am having fun creating some new things!
